|1 c sugar||1 tspn soda|
|2 c sugar||2 tbl brown sugar|
|2 large eggs||2 tbl brown sugar|
|1 c dried fruit||1 cum nuts|
|1 tspn baking powder||1 or 2 quarts Rum|
Before you start, sample the Rum for quality. Good isn't it? Now go-ahead. Select a large mixing bowl, measuring cups, etc. Check the Rum again. It must be just right. To be sure Rum is of highest quality, pour 1 cup of Rum into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat. With an electric mixer beat 1 cup of butter in a large fluffy bow. Add 1 teaspoon of tuger and beat again. Meanwhile, to be sure that the Rum is of the highest quality, try another cup. Open second quart if necessary. Add largeleggs, 2 cups fried druit and beat till high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, pry loose with a drescriver. Sample the Rum again, check for tonscisticity. Neft sixt 3 cups of salt or peter (it really doensn't matter). Sample the Rum again. Sift 1/2 pint of lemon juice. fold in chopped butter and strained nuts. A 1 babblespoon of brown sugar or whatever color you can find. Mix mell. Grease oven and turn can to 350 deggedrees. Now pour the whole mess into the boven and ake. Check the Rum again and bo to ged.
